Director, Supply Chain Planning

The Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Director provides SCP leadership across all Sensata businesses, is responsible for the ongoing development of all SCP team members and the continuous improvement and standardization of SCP processes. The SCP Director leads the holistic development and implementation of tailored supply chain strategies that align to customer segmentation. The SCP Director will drive Sales and Operations Planning process improvement across all product families. This is a highly visible position with global interaction with all levels of the supported business and manufacturing site leadership teams.
    • Lead a team of employees to achieve established supply chain performance goals. Coach, direct and develop team members to achieve these goals
    • Drive ongoing improvement of the monthly Sales and Operations Planning processes to achieve a profitable end to end supply response accounting for trade-offs
    • Lead the establishment of processes to determine appropriate Finished Good (FG) equipment capacity buffer targets and ensure processes exist to sense potential capacity gaps at appropriate levels of detail
    • Lead the implementation of Multi-Echelon Inventory Strategies to efficiently achieve customer segment service level goals
    • Develop manufacturing models (MTO, ATO, MTS) and corresponding inventory strategies specific to the business that satisfy requirements for inventory, operations costs, lead time to customers and delivery targets
    • Monitor performance of inventory policies
    • Ensure Oracle parameters are optimized for demand signal integrity
    • Ensure effective allocation process exist to manage global allocation in situations where demand significantly exceeds supply
    • Drive the development and standardization of Master Planning processes with internal capacity and supplier constraints in order to efficiently meet on time delivery goals and inventory goals
    • Develop and track supply chain performance measurements to provide feedback on execution, identify improvement opportunities and drive change
    • Implement supply chain improvement projects that deliver process improvement for the entire Supply Chain Management function
    • Travel up to 15% may be required to other Sensata sites
  • Requirements:
    • Engineering degree preferred, BS in Supply Chain, Finance or similar required; MBA is preferred
    • 10 - 15 years related experience
    • Experience linking key supply chain performance measures with financial results
    • Strong analytical problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to accept new ideas, engage in creative, innovative and systemic thinking to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems
    • Ability to listen, influence others, manage change and effectively motivate through open communication
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize critical issues and display the initiative and flexibility in dealing with them
    • Experience in Program and Project Management
    • Understanding of an ERP system; Oracle experience is preferred.
    • Experience with global projects and leading global teams is preferred
    • APICS and Lean certification preferred

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
