HR Generalist

To assist the senior HR team in providing a high quality, professional and proactive HR service that meets customer needs and corporate objectives. To work flexibly and collaboratively with other colleagues in the HR team, proactively identifying areas for service improvement. The HR Generalist will act as an initial point of contact for HR related queries for employees as appropriate.
Principal Responsibilities
Work closely with allocated departments and assist line managers and employees in understanding, implementing and following HR procedures and policies.
Provide day to day response to the direct management team on HR issues. Escalate issues to the Senior HR Manager as required to ensure that Managers receive accurate and timely assistance on disciplinary, career development, and work matters.
Taking and drafting of notes as required for pertinent formal meetings.
Undertake and manage the HR administration of starters / leavers, conducting exit interviews and some onboarding activities. Work closely with the Senior HR Manager to partner with the Compensation, Payroll & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and L&D teams to build strategic relationships and accelerate key work activities
Create internal communications and manage projects as needed
Manage all reporting requests from the Senior HR leader and management team. Including but not limited to demographics, anniversary reports, attrition, etc. Support and execute analytical and monthly people operating reviews, utilizing various system tools, such as Workday and Oracle
Preparation of all HR correspondence, e.g. probation periods, employee references, change of terms, financial, corporate programs etc.
Maintain the job description system to ensure that a current job description is on file for all employees whilst maintaining records of historical job descriptions.
Ensure the accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all HR personal files and databases and ensure appropriate security for all HR related information
Maintain and provide statistical and management information as required and produce timely reports on HR activity using agreed performance indicators.
Undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the Senior HR Manager and carry out other reasonable tasks as required.
Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the Senior HR Manager.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in HR or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Proven ability to act with discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment meet deadlines.
Demonstrates the capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.
Communicates a can do attitude and positive outlook, minimizing negative behaviors.
Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness.
Ability to analyze, provide trending analysis and interpret HR data.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
