The job of Associate, Corporate Business Development is to support the ongoing activity of the firm in identifying and executing strategic transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures of non-core businesses. The position involves a significant level of interpersonal interaction with constituents in all parts of the organization, so communication skills are extremely important. As the firm is engaged in a number of strategic activities, both large and small, the candidate needs to be highly organized and comfortable multitasking. Spreadsheet skills and financial analysis experience are requirements of the position. Finally, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of initiative and willingness to assume personal responsibility for his or her assignments. The candidate will report directly to the SVP, Corporate Development.
The role of the Corporate Development function at Sensata is to ensure that all strategic activity of the firm is managed and moving forward in an efficient manner. For the Associate position, this encompasses a wide range of day-to-day activities, which fall into the following general areas:
Monitor deal landscape
to enable Sensata to be proactive in the market place.
Map acquisition opportunities against strategic objectives, as defined by the business leadership
Track and model relevant transactionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
