SummaryAs a functional Senior Manager/Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of manufacturing operations.
Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between current shop floor practices and the vision of tomorrow's smart factories.
This entails leading the selection and implementation of a new Global Manufacturing Execution Platform, working closely with manufacturing sites worldwide and collaborating with IT to design and execute transformation programs.
You'll have the authority to drive strategy execution, ensuring cost-effective solutions meet program requirements.

ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight:
Spearhead operations for a MES product team and make sure tasks are completed on time and on budget.
Oversee the team through planning and execution phases, providing guidance and support as needed.
Solution Development:
Translate customer and product requirements into comprehensive systems solutions, considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Provide industry expertise to address complex problems and contribute to budget planning and estimates.
Validation and Analysis:
Conduct validation, risk assessments, and effectiveness analyses to ensure the successful implementation of Smart Factory solutions.
Closely monitor performance metrics and provide input for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third parties to identify software solutions that meet business requirements.
Communicate progress updates, roadmaps, and technical concepts effectively to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Functional Program Manager in a manufacturing setting, with expertise in Agile methodologies.
Minimum 5 years' experience with MES software and Industry 4.
0/Smart Factory solutions.
Skills:
Strong collaboration and influence skills, proven track record in implementing digital manufacturing solutions, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and system architecture principles.
Experience with cloud platforms and data analytics tools preferred.
Communication and Collaboration:
Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts and progress updates to diverse stakeholders.
Expertise:
Designing, implementing, and supporting smart factory solutions, including integrated solutions connecting devices, systems, and data.
Metrics and Measurement:
Identify KPIs, measure the impact of smart factory solutions, and define reporting needs for site and executive management.
